Where to stay in Gran Canaria for young people/nightlife?!?

Planning a cheeky trip with my best mate, we are both 19 looking for great nightlife and other young people, only ever been to zante before in laganas, really have no idea what the ideal hotel location is in gran canaria for young people ?! help :)
