Why do a billion people obey the words of an old church-going cheeky grandad from an italian suburb?

Is called inflence. When a celebrity wearing a half hanging trousers, people follow suit and call it fashion. Where's the logic in that? Always on a ready to go to toilet? We all influenced by something and tried to be identified by something.
