How to discipline a bucking horse?

I know its not fun using a crop. With bucking its pretty simple. He's bucking to try to get you off. He learned from someone that this has worked in the past. You really just need to ride it out. Remember to keep your heels down and strengthen your core so he doesn't get you on the ground. After he has a bucking fit, amp up his work load. ask for small circles or a should pass to refocus him. Back up, side pass, anything to get him listening to you. If he does buck you off, get right back on and keep working. After a while, he will see its useless to buck and give up. Oh, and have his teeth and legs checked just to be safe the something isnt bothering him. It's really just about outlasting his attempts. goodluck
