How come Americans can't understand Cheryl Cole, but understand Jamie Oliver....?

Take it from me, they DID understand her accent - if Will-i-am can, so can anyone. They just got rid of her because she didn't get on well with Paula Abdul (doesn't that remind you all of Sharon Osbourne vs. Dannii Minogue, anyone?) They also made a fool of her - did you see that horrible outfit and bizarre hairdo she was given during the auditions? - and as a result the auditionees refered to her as Mrs. Focker from Meet The Fockers...how cruel.
