Help! I have an uninvited guest in my bedroom!?

I'm un-nerved. When I went to make my bed so I could go to sleep, a lizard cake scurrying across my bed, scaring the Christ out of me. He escaped during my attempt to catch him, and I have no idea where he went. How do I draw this cheeky little bugger out, and how do I catch him? I can't rest until I've dealt with it. Please help!!
